Why Are Scooter Wheels important?
You should not overlook one of the most essential parts of your stunt scooter, your WHEELS! Scooter wheels are very important, without them you can’t ride. They are also a massive factor on how your scootering experience will be. Having good quality wheels will improve how your scooter rides and feels meaning they are such a crucial component to your stunt scooter.
Because they are such an important and essential part to your scooter then they must be good quality. This will help you land those tricks and improve your speed as well as your overall experience on your ride.
Normal Scooter wheels
Your average Scooter wheels that you may find on a foldable stunt scooter, cannot withstand the stress and force of doing tricks. The high Grade aluminium we use is a much better option than the traditional Nylon Cores. Because these scooters are not designed to be used for tricks, neither are their components. The wheels will not be as durable or strong to handle excessive force which is undergone when performing tricks and riding with force. To be able to withstand this sort of abuse you need CORE Stunt Scooter Wheels.
Core Stunt Scooter Wheels
High quality, lightweight aluminium makes up our Hollow cores. So you know they are going to be a lot more shock resistant than your average nylon core wheels.
The metal CORE is then bonded to our custom Polyurethane material to improve your grip and responsiveness. All our wheels come pre-loaded with our own CORE bearings to give you that super smooth ride.
Wheel sizes and compatibility can be a tricky obstacle to overcome. Almost all 110mm wheels will fit any brand of stunt scooter. Some scooters are also capable of holding 120mm wheels if you want to ride a bigger wheel. Please check which size is compatible with your scooter before you buy your new scooter wheels.
The second instalment of wheels from CORE. After the V1 wheels sold out The V2 wheels featured a completely new re-designed concave aluminium CORE to reduce weight and improve speed.
Now you know you're getting a good hollow core wheel when you buy it from CORE! Hollow Core Stunt Scooter Wheels are hugely popular with riders looking to reduce the weight of their scooter. The wheel as the name suggests has a hollow centre instead of a traditional solid centre without compromising on strength. The CORE Wheels come in a super grippy 88a compound which is perfect for both street and park riding.

Sizing and Compatibility
Scooter Wheels are made in various different sizes. There are 100mm, 110mm, 115mm, 120mm and even 125mm. There are also different widths, the basic and most common width is 24mm wide but there are also other options such as 26mm, 28mm and 30mm. The majority of our wheels come in at 24mm wide by 110mm which is what we think is the best overall size for scootering. We also do over 120mm wheels for riders who want a little extra speed.
Not all Scooter wheels are compatible with all scooter parts. Our Forks and deck will fit any 24mm by 100, 110 and 120mm wheels. Anything else will be too big. You need to take the compatibility of your scooter parts into consideration when purchasing a pair of new scooter wheels. Just like other parts, all of them are not compatible and some things don’t work together.
Metal Inline Skate Wheels
Our wheels are also compatible with inline skates that fit 110mm and 120mm wheels, this is very popular with TriSkates users and people that want to improve upon their skating experience. A metal core skate wheel will give you a much more stable and smooth skating experience. Perfect if you're looking to hit up some street skating or even skate Berlin marathon!
How to measure Stunt Scooter wheels? To find out the size of your scooter wheel you need to measure the diameter of the overall wheel. This will tell you if it is 100mm or so on.
What are the best stunt scooter wheels? The Core HEX hollow Core wheels are our best wheels to date. We have got rid of all the unnecessary material involved to reduce weight without sacrificing strength!
Are bigger wheels better on a scooter? Bigger doesn't always mean better. However bigger does mean more speed, So if you are looking to add a little more speed to your sessions then we recommend going for our 120mm versions of our Hollow cores.
